Layering Guide

Our layering guide with the Merino wrap suit

The most frequently asked question is about the Merino wrap suit and how we can best use it.

Early autumn: Since merino wool is so soft, we can use the suit at the end of summer - on the first warm autumn days - simply with a bodysuit underneath.

Autumn: In autumn we wear a bodysuit and trousers under the suit. Here you can experiment with different materials for the trousers - for example light cotton trousers for warmer days or corduroy trousers for cooler days. If necessary, you can also put a long-sleeved shirt over the bodysuit.

Early winter: Now we upgrade and add a sweater or cardigan to the suit. Here too, the fiber plays a big role. Cotton sweaters or those with synthetic fibers such as polyester are less warm. Our collection is made of 100% natural merino wool, so we recommend our merino cardigan for extra warmth.

Deep winter: My son loves his suit all year round. In deep winter, when he was still small, I often had him under my jacket in a carrier or in the stroller with a sheepskin and footmuff. That way he always stayed nice and warm.

Good to know: Merino wool is a very soft fiber that gently undulates. These waves trap air and therefore have an insulating effect.
